My dad tells me that my 20 year old sister went to an anime or comic book convention last weekend in Chicago, and that she dressed up in a costume. I am hoping the costume is like this picture, and not something like this.

I don’t know much, if anything, about anime - but I’ve got to assume that like everything else, there are different levels of class, if you will.

I know a nice bit about anime and so do my friends. We’re all anime freaks and yes, i like to think there are some levels of class. That is disputable, though.

This band became all the rage on the Hype Machine recently. I listened to a few tracks but nothing grabbed me. Then yesterday I was listening to the Hype Machine. I typed in “acoustic” into the search box and this song came on the playlist. And I fell in love with it.

Now I’m giving Hot Chip another try. Any other recommendations by this band?

I felt the same way about AFI’s the missing frame. I was pissed off w/ someone when i heard it again. maybe i8 felt better cause i felt the person was missing a frame… whatever they mean by ‘frame’ cause they won’t explain it.
